There was a recent spate of users abusing the Yebber system by posting pictures and reviews from other websites and claiming it as their own.

We have since cracked down on the users and we like to remind all users of the following line in Yebber’s Terms of Service.

(2) You agree not to post, distribute, duplicate, copy any copyrighted material, registered trademarks or other privileged and confidential information without the prior written consent of the owners of such information, signed by the authorized party and confirmed by way of company stamp.

Duplication of copyrighted material is a very serious offence and we do not condone such behaviour in Yebber. Please make sure that all reviews and pictures submitted to Yebber are owned by you or at least given permission by the owner to be submitted by you.

We encourage all Yebbers to feedback to us whenever they see such behaviour in Yebber by filling up the contact form and telling us of the review that is in question and preferably with a link to the original content.

These are the following users who have been found to be violating Yebber’s TOS: raphael794, hengstyle, chiangsy & lzshun. These Yebbers have been banned from participating and their reviews/Yebber$ have been removed. We are also in the process of claiming back the amount paid to them if any. Further action will be taken should they repeat the same behavior by signing up as a new user.

This is the first time Yebber.com has ever banned any member from participating in the writing of reviews. This is also an assurance to all Yebbers that their intellectual property rights are being respected and action will be taken against those who infringe the copyrights of others.
